We found a nice izakaya tucked away at JR Kawanishi-Ikeda Station in Hyogo Prefecture! Its name is Tottoya.
This is a small izakaya, but each dish is delicious. Dear overseas visitors who want to experience Japanese izakaya in a relaxed atmosphere, why don’t you come here?

Delicious dishes
I expected that there would be a lot of chicken dishes on the menu, but there are a variety of sashimi and other dishes. This three-piece sashimi dish was very tasty.
The below picture is white radish sprouts and prosciutto salad. I didn’t know that white radish sprouts and prosciutto go well together!
Yakitori Hatsu, yum! It is juicy and bursting with flavor. As expected of Chicken House. Yakitori is delicious.
Grilled eel kabayaki, goes well with beer! This was the first time I ordered it as a one-pot dish. It is a good dish for drinks.
This deep-fried rice cake is the best. It is covered in a batter of deep-fried mochi, and this broth is also very tasty. This dish has a wonderful taste. Highly recommended.
The Seseri ponzu is also delicious!
The menu is full of dishes that make you want to drink more. Each dish is creative and has a sophisticated taste. This is the kind of place I would go to again and again. It is a quiet but well-known restaurant for those in the know. Try it!
