Zero One Curry, which is very popular in Osaka and where you can enjoy authentic southern Indian style curry, has arrived in Tamachi, Tokyo!!! Furu and Sato went there together!!!!!
If you are a foreigner who wants to try authentic southern Indian curry in Japan, please come here! And for the many Indians living in Japan, I’m sure you’ll feel the taste of home! Highly recommended!
It’s a delicious curry set!
This set allows you to choose two curries, so you can choose your favorite!
Chicken Masala and Today’s Fish Curry by Sato
Sato chose the two hexagonal containers on the top right!
We had chicken masala (left) and today’s fish curry (right), scallop curry! For rice, we chose lemon rice for an additional 100 yen! The long, thin rice had a hint of lemon and spice, and went perfectly with the curry!!
The most popular chicken masala is insanely delicious!!! It’s made with plenty of spices, and is spicy with a concentrated chicken flavor! We ate this with chicken rice.
The scallop curry was also a little sour, with a gentle, slightly sweet seafood flavor. This was also delicious!!
It was really fun to be able to choose two. The side dishes of pickled carrots, mashed potatoes made with Indian butter (the yellow chunks next to the rice), and coconut paste (the white chunks next to the rice) added color to the flavor.
Chicken Masala and Limited Special Curry by Fulu
I ordered a set of “Chicken Masala” and the limited special curry “Halal Beef Tendon Saag.” The green curry on the right is beef tendon curry. It is simmered with plenty of spinach paste and is apparently a Muslim home-cooked dish. I was surprised at how light and easy it was to eat. The side dishes served with the rice on the blue oval plate made for a spicy curry that piqued my interest and appetite.
It was fun to be able to eat a meal with Sato again after a long time. Thank you for the meal!
