I went to the Anpanman Museum! There are several across Japan, but I visited the one in Yokohama. It’s hugely popular with Japanese kids. Why not bring your children along too, everyone from overseas!?
When you see the giant Anpanman, you’ve arrived at the Anpanman Museum.

Must-See! How to Make the Most of Your Time at Anpanman Museum
Once inside, there’s a play area for little kids, but that’s not the main attraction! The Anpan Museum is all about the events!!!
The event schedule seems to be updated monthly like this. Weekends look like this (link here)
The absolute must-see is the event featuring Anpanman and friends on the main stage, repeated about four times a day. Seriously, some dads secure seats over 30 minutes in advance. My recommendation: “One person holds the spot, while the other plays with the kids in the Anpanman Museum play area.”

Alongside the main stage, there’s a smaller theater-like area called Waiwai Park, where singing events also take place. Anpanman and the Singing Sister are there, and everyone sings familiar songs together. This area also has limited capacity, so line up immediately after the main stage event ends. The front section offers the best spot for taking photos when all the characters strike their poses together.

Why not try buying some Anpanman bread for lunch?
It’s no exaggeration to call it one of the main attractions: Anpanman Bread. This one requires leaving the museum; the entrance is outside on the first floor.

There’s a food corner inside the museum on the first floor, so we recommend grabbing some bread to take out and eat together. It gets quite crowded around noon, so we suggest having an early lunch around 11:00.
True to the Anpanman Museum, the menu features items kids will love.

Online reservations are a must!
Please, please come meet the Anpanman bread! You’ll have a blast!
