There is a garden that boasts the number one in the Japanese Garden Ranking for 20 consecutive years in an American Japanese garden magazine “Sukiya Living Magazine : The Journal of Japanese Gardening”.
That’s the Adachi Museum of Art! This is a magnificent Japanese garden that overseas visitors should visit at least once.
It’s located in Shimane Prefecture, so it’s not easy to get there, but I definitely recommend it to overseas visitors who are familiar with the area.
It’s okay even in the rain! In fact, you can almost see the garden from indoors!
Unfortunately, when I went there, it was raining lightly, but you can enjoy it even in the rain! This is because it is designed so that the garden can be viewed from almost inside the house.
It is surrounded by beautiful glass, and you can see it as if you are walking in a garden! !
Large borrowed scenery! It is a garden that makes full use of the great nature in the background of the garden.
There is a sense of unity, so it may not be obvious, but there is a mountain in the background, which makes the garden of the Adachi Museum stand out. The design of the garden has been meticulously calculated to provide the best view, including the mountains in the background.
With my photography skills, it’s difficult to convey the beauty of the Adachi Museum’s garden, so please take a look at the photos on the official website! !(→here)
