I went to the new store again! This time, amazing sakes came out one after another. As the manager said, “The order in which you drink sake is the key,” if you drink sake in the recommended order, the goodness of each sake stands out. If you follow the manager, you will definitely go to sake heaven.
This time I went to Furu-san again! Every time I go to this store I feel excited. It’s a legendary store. It’s wonderful from the entrance. It’s quiet, like this lantern. It’s a hideaway for sake lovers.
I would love for all Overseas Visitors who come to Japan to have this experience!!!
Let’s start with some spring-themed drinks!
We were asked to first get a feel for the season, so we chose a drink that gives a spring feel. All the labels are pink with cherry blossoms, it’s spring. Oze no Yukimoke was gorgeous and mellow, it tasted like makgeolli. We enjoyed spring.
Sake that goes well with sashimi!
The specialty three-item sashimi platter is a must-order first! It’s high quality and packed with the delicious flavor of the fish. It’s so delicious… the service is excellent and there are more than three types!
Pescatore means “fisherman” in Italian. It’s a drink made for fish, with a clean taste that brings out the flavor of the fish.
Furu-san! The Oni(鬼) label sake was your top pick!
The label design features a demon’s face, making it an unforgettable and outstanding drink! My favorite of the day was Oniyamama (Blue). Just like the label, it is a bold, rich and full-bodied drink with a strong impact.
The PESCA TORRE that was served with it was meant to be drunk with sashimi, and had a refreshing taste. It brought out the flavor of the fish and had a crisp, dry taste. It is apparently a popular drink at sushi restaurants.

The Special Sakes keep coming
Each sake is full of character and can only be enjoyed here. On this day, we drank nine different kinds of sake. How much can you drink?
Shichiden(七田) was a deep-flavored sake that went well with the food. I thought it was the perfect sake for foreigners who want to enjoy it with their food. I love Tenzan(天山) Sake Brewery’s yuzu sake and have ordered it many times. They also support facility dogs, and 700 yen is donated when you purchase yuzu sake. Isn’t it wonderful?
With plenty of sake and delicious snacks, it was the ultimate fun. I can’t remember the manager’s passionate explanation (tears).
Kaze no Mori (風の森)has a slight carbonation and a fruity flavor. It has a stylish texture. The label is Western-style with gold letters on a white background. It’s the manager’s wonderful discretion to serve sake with such different tastes.
This is the drink that Furu-san chose from the package he requested. Furu was very pleased!
There were four types of Gakki Masamune series. A Japanese woman is playing the flute, which makes a big impact. I have never seen such a sake label before. There are so many sakes at Robosyuan that I choose them by the label. It was refreshing and delicious. Next time I would like to try all four types!
↓Classic and perfectly balanced. Simply put, it’s delicious. It has a classy, top-class taste. It’s my favorite. This sake is so popular that it’s apparently the second hardest drink to get in Japan. I’m happy to have come across it. Thank you… And the No. 1 is a sake made by Obuse Winery. (We introduced Obuse Winery in a previous article!)
This sake with the king in it is called “Oroku”. This is also a great sake with a strong punch and a classic feel. I’m torn between this and the previous Kirei. Both are incredibly delicious. This sake is made with rice from 2019 and is a special sake that has been aged. It’s an exquisite sake that tests the manager’s skill in deciding when to serve it to customers. As expected from the manager, it was a sake with the strongest impact.
↓The last drink was a lightly sweet champagne-like sake. It left me in a good mood with a lingering aftertaste.
The side dishes were just as delicious as ever.
Not only sashimi, but also the standard marinated firefly squid, grilled bonito belly skin, fried tofu with sake kasu mayonnaise, crab miso, grilled rice balls, etc. were all delicious. I introduced them last time, but I ordered them again.
And let’s not forget the great value mountain-sized starter,(Bottom right photo) which was also incredibly delicious.
And the new dishes I ordered this time, the Lachikan Potatoes, salted boiled asparagus, and wasabi-pickled yam (I forgot to take a photo, lol), were also incredibly delicious.
This is an addictive taste. This cheese went perfectly with the honey drop sake dessert at the end.
The asparagus was fresh and delicious. It goes well with alcohol.
