If you wake up in the morning feeling like you’ve had too much to drink, be sure to visit “Tarachan,” located right next to Higashi-Ginza Station. They’re open from 7am. They serve a mild flavored nutritious Korean soup.

Japan’s first Bugeoguk soup restaurant

Bugeoguk is a popular Korean home-cooking dish. Tarachan is a restaurant that specializes in Bugeoguk, a soup made by simmering dried pollock. The menu at Tarachan is Bugeoguk only.

Cozy restaurant

The restaurant is located on Kobikicho Street behind the Kabukiza Theater. The blue neon fish sign is the sign, but if you’re not paying attention, you might pass it by. You will find a ticket machine right after you enter, buy a meal ticket. You can only select pugeoguk, its only menu.

There is a counter seats and two tables at the back. Jazz music is playing and you can enjoy Korean home cooking in a stylish space.
