A must-see for elephant lovers!!! There’s a wonderful elephant zoo in Japan. Your impression of elephants—which have traditionally been seen as symbolic figures at zoos—will shift to that of active performers capable of performing tricks. This is Ichihara Elephant Kingdom, home to Japan’s largest and most talented elephants.
Here’s the biggest surprise.

This drawing was done on the spot by Zou-san. It’s shockingly good… Especially the one on the left by Ririka-chan—she even captured the cherry blossoms reflecting in the pond. Wow—Zou-san is this good at drawing?!

They also try their hand at soccer penalty kicks, dance, and do all sorts of things. I really hope you’ll go check it out.

Finally, when you hand the elephant the famous 1,000-yen bill, they’ll give you a stuffed elephant in return. You’ll also get to feed the elephant. The kids absolutely love it.

There are lots of other animals there, too, and you can feed them. It’s a zoo where you can get really close to the animals—it’s so much fun!
Why not come to Japan and see these amazing elephants in action?
