Lately, I’ve been looking forward to the dried mandarin oranges that are so easy to pick up at convenience stores! Amanatsu is a type of citrus said to have originated from a sport of the Natsumikan. It’s known as “Amanatsu” because it’s less tart and sweeter than the Natsumikan.
True to its name, it’s sweet with a slightly tart kick, and I just can’t stop munching on it. When I’m in the mood for something a little sweet—not the sharp tartness of a lemon—this sweet flavor is just perfect!!
It’s the kind of convenient dried fruit I can’t help but grab whenever I go to a convenience store.
Stay tuned for more updates of Japan. See you soon!
