1.Amanohashidate should be seen from both shores! First, let’s start from the Amanohashidate Station side (south).
If you are coming by car, you will probably first park at the parking lot on the Amanohashidate Station side. The parking lots are located next to private houses, and there are many small parking lots rather than large parking lots! It’ll be lucky if you can park close to the lift!
First, take the lift to the higher ground! Let’s start from the Amanohashidate Station side (south).

For those who are afraid of lifts! There is also a monorail. But I took the lift because the sensation is long every 20 minutes.

It is not as high as I thought it would be, and it is high enough that I would be safe even if I should fall.

2.This is Viewland, Hiryukan.
Arrival! This is Viewland, Hiryukan. The southern side of Amanohashidate is called Hiryukan. The view from this side is spectacular, with a beautiful view of the sea. You can enjoy the view that makes Amanohashidate one of the three most scenic spots in Japan.

There are also children’s attractions here!

The photographer will take both pictures for sale and pictures on your phone! You don’t have to buy anything, so we highly recommend that you have the photographer press the shutter button!

3.Let’s try the famous crotch peeking!
This spot is famous for looking like a bridge in the sky when you look at the spectacular view from the crotch.

4.For getting down, a lift is recommended!
If it is a lift when you get off, you can look down at the spectacular view with an open mind and take your time. It is a luxurious moment. The air is also very clean and delicious!

5.Don’t worry! There is a restroom right in front of the lift station.
This is indeed a famous sightseeing spot in Japan! The restrooms are clean and well-equipped.

6.Next, we will head for Amanohashidate! We will cross to the other side of the river by boat first.
Some people cross by bicycle, but we decided to cross by boat first and then ride our bicycles on the way back! Some people bike there and back, so it’s your choice!

There was also a boat ride around the area and back.

The bridge across to Amanohashidate rotates slowly each time a boat comes through. The sea water is clear and beautiful. It is nice to relax and enjoy the view. Pine trees are growing thickly, and you can feel a sense of elegance.

The boat is pleasantly breezy and enjoyable.

7.You can also climb up to the high ground on the other side of the river (north)! You can enjoy a different view!
The view from the other side of the river is more mountainous. I prefer the Amanohashidate Station side (south).
There are a cable car and a lift here. The lift is recommended for the return trip!

8.On the way back, it’s time to ride a bicycle! It’s a tree-lined avenue of pine trees the whole way. Beautiful!
You can also bike only on the way back! On the way back, we cycled as long as time allowed and took it easy, stopping at a seaside beach on the way back.

It is very pleasant to ride a bicycle along the tree-lined path of pine trees. By the way, it takes about 30 minutes on foot. By bicycle, it takes about 10 minutes.

It’s nice to park your bike and relax and watch the ocean! This is my second time, but the first time I saw dolphins here!

We threw rocks and other things and relaxed, spending time as we pleased.

What do you think? Don’t you want to go there?
Amanohashidate is a beautiful place and the scenery is really beautiful. Riding a bicycle in Amanohashidate is a luxurious experience.
Amanohashidate is called the Kyoto of the sea. It certainly lives up to its name.
